Donadio Says American Generals In The Middle East May Be Targeted by Iran

Barry Donadio, a former member of the U.S. Secret Service and Anti-Terrorist Consultant says that Iran's next move may be to kidnap or kill an American General in the Middle East among other possibilities 

Barry Donadio is warning American Generals that are serving in the middle eastern theater  to take extraordinary security measures for their own personal safety. The United States military recently targeted and killed the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. What many people don't understand is that this attack would be the same as another country taking out one of our Generals on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In other words, It's huge and a step away from the status quo regarding American military responses to Iran's strategy in the middle eastern region. 

"Iran will retaliate, there is no doubt in my mind." said Donadio. "Iran will need to boldly reply or risk losing all credibility in the region." "Even if they know they can't win a war against the United States, they will counter attack U.S. interests within a month" he said.

Donadio said a sophisticated drone attack will most likely target a high-ranking American General or Diplomatic Official to show a measured response to the targeting of General Soleimani. Iran will need to articulate that the response is rational and not reckless in the world court of opinion. Many countries are watching to see what will happen, including Russia and China.

Donadio suggests that all U.S. Military Generals take the appropriate counter-drone security measures, counter-surveillance measures, and executive protection measures. They should never underestimate the possibility of being targeted by Iranian agents or their proxies.

Iran may also seek to achieve a 2nd Bengazi that they can use to sensationalize in the media.   U.S embassies in the region should remain of full alert for potential attacks.  Iran may also act through their proxy Hezbollah by attacking U.S. interests in the region in order to score a quick media victory displaying their reply to the killing of General Soleimani. 

Barry Donadio is a native of New York who led an honorable career in the Volunteer Ambulance Service, Volunteer Fire Department, the Military, Law Enforcement, and the United States Secret Service. He was assigned to the White House to protect Presidents Bush and Obama. He also served in multiple Middle Eastern war zones during his career. In 2013, he authored the book " TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account". This is his account describing his actions during the rescue of TWA Flight 800 on July 17th, 1996. In 2014 he was elected to the Queen Anne's County Republican Central Committee in Maryland. He successfully completed his 4year term. January 2017, he was appointed the Sergeant at Arms of the Maryland Republican Party by the Honorable Dirk Haire. Donadio successfully completed a 2-year term as Sergeant at Arms of the MDGOP. Donadio continues to serve as the President of Public Security LLC. It is a high-profile private security and investigation firm that provides protection to high-risk clients in Maryland, New York, and dangerous overseas locations. Donadio published his the second book "That Day When Hell Froze Over" on August 17th, 2019.

Donadio Awarded "Global War On Terrorism Medal" 17 Years After Military Service

On June 24th, 2019, Barry Donadio was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (GWOT-SM) for his service while still in the military back in 2002. The United States had just been attacked on September 11th, 2001 and we had not yet invaded Iraq when Donadio served on anti-terrorism operations from September 2001 until August 2002. Donadio was then honorably discharged from military service in 2002 and transferred to the United States Secret Service. He spent the next ten years in serving the United States Government.

Donadio originally did not receive the medal because he was already out of the military when the medal was established on March 12th, 2003, via executive order 13289.

Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (GWOT-SM)

The criteria to receive the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal is that a military service member must have served on active duty during a designated anti-terrorism operation. They had to serve for a minimum 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days on such operation. For those who were engaged in combat, killed, or wounded in the line of duty the time requirement is waived.

Donadio will add his newly awarded Global War on Terrorism Service Medal to his corrected DD-214 military record along with his already existing Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, and four honorable discharges to name a few.

Since completing his military service and government service, Donadio has stayed active as an advocate for other Veterans. He is a member of the Kent Island American Legion Post 278 and a lifetime member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7464 in Grasonville, MD.
