Barry Donadio Awarded Conspicuous Service Star By New York Governor

On May 18th, 2022, Barry Donadio was awarded New York State’s Conspicuous Service Star medal by New York Governor Kathy Hochul. The Governor presented the medal to Donadio on behalf of Representivtives in the New York legislature 20 years after he served in the military. The medal commemorates his honorable service in the Armed Forces and the State of New York. Barry Donadio is a home grown New Yorker from Long Island. He was born in Bay Shore, grew up in Oakdale and lived in Port Jefferson Station as a teenager. After attending Comsewogue high school, he served in various patriotic positions through out his career. Those positions included serving in the N.Y. Army National Guard 42nd Infantry Division Scout Platoon located in Patchogue N.Y.. He then served in the 340th Military Police in Jamaica, Queens. After that, he served at the 106th Security Police in Westhampton Beach, NY.. He led the Emergency Services Team there and was Sniper certified by the FBI and the Suffolk County Police. Later, he took a position United States Secret Service at the White House. He made a name for himself while serving on the Secret Service Emergency Response Team (ERT) as one of the top marksman while he protected President Bush and President Obama on a daily basis. Donadio qualified under the standards and criteria’s for obtaining New York’s Conspicuous Service Star as described below: To whom awarded: Current New York State citizen, or New York State citizen while serving on federal active duty, and A current of former full-time military person serving in the Armed Forces of the United States or allied forces for purposes other than training since 6 April, 1917; Active Guard/Reserve(AGR) excepted, and Who is currently serving under honorable conditions or who has been honorably discharged from active duty. Criteria: The Conspicuous Service Star may be awarded to any current New York State citizen or person who was a New York State citizen while serving on federal active duty; whose entire service was honorable and who were recepients of a unit commendations arising from combat while serving in the United States Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard. Gold to represent five additional awards In this presentation, Donadio was awarded 2 Silver Shields which is fixed in the middle of the ribbon. New York State Conspicuous Service Star Medal Upon receiving the medal Donadio stated; “I would like to thank New York Governor Kathy Hochal and the New York state legislature for recognizing my military service and awarding me the Conspicuous Service Star medal.” “Receiving this honor has become a high point in my life and I hope it encourages young men and women to become the next generation of New York patriot solders that will serve our country. “ “Although my military career has come to a close, I will always serve the people of New York in various positive ways and protect our country.” Donadio’s newly awarded medal will serve as a memento of his honorable service in the Armed Forces and the State of New York. It is noteworthy that Donadio is a descendant of the original settlers of New Amsterdam (today’s New York) through his fraternal grandmother. Because of this reason, getting this medal from his home state of New York deeply touches him. This is the third medal Barry Donadio has received after his military service. On June 24th 2017, Donadio was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. The medal was awarded 17 years after Donadio completed his military service. Congressman Andy Harris of Maryland presented the medal to Donadio in person. On March 30th 2022, Donadio was awarded a second medal 20 years after his military service. He received the New York State Medal For Merit from New York’s Adjutant General of the Division of Military and Naval Affairs. Donadio will add to his credentials the newly awarded Conspicuous Service Star along with his already existing, Medal For Merit, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, and four honorable discharges to name a few. Since completing his military service and government service, Donadio has moved to Maryland and stayed active as an advocate for other veterans. Donadio Says American Generals In The Middle East May Be Targeted by Iran

Barry Donadio, a former member of the U.S. Secret Service and Anti-Terrorist Consultant says that Iran's next move may be to kidnap or kill an American General in the Middle East among other possibilities 

Barry Donadio is warning American Generals that are serving in the middle eastern theater  to take extraordinary security measures for their own personal safety. The United States military recently targeted and killed the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. What many people don't understand is that this attack would be the same as another country taking out one of our Generals on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In other words, It's huge and a step away from the status quo regarding American military responses to Iran's strategy in the middle eastern region. 

"Iran will retaliate, there is no doubt in my mind." said Donadio. "Iran will need to boldly reply or risk losing all credibility in the region." "Even if they know they can't win a war against the United States, they will counter attack U.S. interests within a month" he said.

Donadio said a sophisticated drone attack will most likely target a high-ranking American General or Diplomatic Official to show a measured response to the targeting of General Soleimani. Iran will need to articulate that the response is rational and not reckless in the world court of opinion. Many countries are watching to see what will happen, including Russia and China.

Donadio suggests that all U.S. Military Generals take the appropriate counter-drone security measures, counter-surveillance measures, and executive protection measures. They should never underestimate the possibility of being targeted by Iranian agents or their proxies.

Barry Donadio Instructing HQL Class To Marylanders

Barry Donadio, formerly of the U.S. Secret Service and current President of Public Security LLC is now teaching the use of pistols to Maryland residents.

Under Maryland State law, residents are required to obtain a Handgun Qualification License (HQL) prior to purchasing a revolver or pistol. 

In order to obtain the HQL, applicants are required to attend a 4 hour class on pistols and fire a pistol as a minimum qualification. The 4 hour classes are only authorized to be given by certified pistol instructors validated by the Maryland State Police. Mr Donadio currently holds the Instructor certification and is authorized to give the class. His classroom sessions are typically held on Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. He then brings class participants to various area shooting ranges to complete the qualification. He also instructs on a one on one basis with clients that request it. 

The HQL can only be issued to applicants 21 years old or over. If you are 18 you may take the class which is good for 3 years, then apply for the license when applicant turns 21.

Barry Donadio's Book Being Sold By Barnes & Noble

In September of 2013, celebrity Author Barry Donadio released his account of what happened on the night TWA Flight 800 crashed in 1996. Needless to say, his book has sparked lots of interest globally. It has now sparked the interest of the prestigious book selling company " Barnes & Noble".

Barry Donadio hinted that he appreciates that such a prestigious company like Banes & Noble has taken interest in his book by selling it on their website.

Mr. Donadio was one of the first responding Emergency Medical Technicians to the TWA Flight 800 crash on July 16th 1996. A short time after the tragedy, word spread globally of a possible coverup by the U.S. Government.

Since then, Mr. Donadio had obtained multiple positions in the United States Government. One of those positions included serving at the White House during the Bush and Obama administrations in the Secret Service.

Barry Donadio's Protection Agency Hires 65 Marylanders

Barry Donadio's private security and investigation firm "Public Security LLC", put 65 Marylanders to work this month. Most were Eastern Shore Marylanders hired to work the "10K Over The Bay Bridge Run" that took place on November 6th 2016. The new staff fetched a high hourly rate of pay as Public Security LLC decided that paying Marylanders a high wage was more important then their profit according to their business strategy. After working the event, the newly hired Marylanders were afforded further employment opportunities with Public Security LLC on a part-time basis. Those positions are expected to lead to full time positions. 

The new staff working for Public Security LLC are happy with the new opportunity. Many feel it will open more doors for them. Kristen Brook, a newly hired Event Staff, thanked the company President Barry Donadio for the allowing all of them to be apart of the Bridge Race. Deborah Thornton-Lee expressed how proud she was to work for Public Security LLC at the event. 

Barry Donadio stated that he focused on recruiting residents of Queen Anne's County, so they could display Eastern Shore pride in their services to his clients. In August of 2016, Walmart began offering Barry Donadio's book for sale on its website. It is a privilege not offered to every book for sale on the market.

Barry Donadio released his book "TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account" back in September of 2013. Sales began globally by Amazon, Barnes & Noble and a dozen more reputable distributors. The book has steadily increased in sales, especially in 2016.

Mr. Donadio has also given away hundreds of copies for free to the public. He also conducted numerous book signing events that were open to the public. Most recently he led events commemorating the 20 year anniversary of the crash of TWA Flight 800 which occurred on July 17th 1996. Barry Donadio Briefs TWA Flight 800 Families At Moriches Coast Guard Station On 20th Anniversary

Barry Donadio led events commemorating the 20 year anniversary of the downing of TWA Flight 800 on Long Island. The controversial crash occurred on July 17th 1996. There are still many people with questions as to why the plane crashed. Most people were attending events to remember their loved ones and friends.

Mr. Donadio authored the book "TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account". It was released in September 2013 and has been gaining more interest. The book is about his account of the evening the plane went down. He was an Emergency Medical Technician that responded to the scene of the rescue operations.

Donadio stated " I felt that it was important to remember the victims of the tragedy on the 20th anniversary. I was happy to meet families of some of the victims. We turned the 20th anniversary of a horrible event, into a positive day for all those who attended."

Mr. Donadio led victims families to the TWA Flight 800 Memorial in Shirley, New York as well as the TWA Flight 800 Memorials in East Moriches New York. With the cooperation of the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Moriches, he led the group to the Coast Guard station. The group was able to access the station while Mr. Donadio explained to the group what happened there on the night of July 17th 1996.

Barry Donadio's Security Agency Mobilized For The 2015 Baltimore Riots

Barry Donadio's Private Security Agency "Public Security LLC" mobilized during the 2015 Baltimore Riots. 

Public Security LLC provided free security protective escorts to elements of the Salvation Army in the most hostile areas of Baltimore during the riots. The Salvation Army delivered free food to the citizens of Baltimore that were in need. 

Public Security LLC President Barry Donadio stated " It was our duty to act and do our part for the people of Baltimore. " We were honored to keep those safe who delivered food to persons who needed it". "For us, this was not about making money, it was about doing what is right and being their for the public in need".
