You’re in good hands with Barry Donadio the President of Public Security LLC, who is a former U.S. Secret Service tactical operator.

The building is as anonymous as one could find, nestled in an industrial park in Queenstown, MD., a mid-size town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. A small discreet sign is the only indication that there is a well-known, well-regarded security company. The office is functional, a few items including a small toy car, certificates from the states of Maryland and New York certifying that the occupant is fully licensed as a private detective and a firearms instructor. This is the office of Barry Donadio, President of Public Security, LLC, one of about 420 security agencies in Maryland.

Like the office where he sits, Barry Donadio presents the image of a calm, quiet man, who’s background belies his appearance. Donadio, a native of New York, his accent still present, has always been involved with some aspect of security.

The summer of his junior year in high school, Donadio participated in a then, novel program which allowed underaged (he was 17) students to join the New York (NY) Army National Guard and take part if a modified boot camp. Unlike the JROTC, this program was designed to prepare students to become fully qualified student upon graduation. After graduation, Donadio qualified as an Infantry Recon Scout, assigned to the Army National Guard on Long Island, NY. He loved being in the National Guard. “I have so much respect for the men and women I worked with. Every day, they place their lives on the line to defend this country. It was an honor to serve with them.”

After his initial commitment to the Army National Guard was completed, he joined the U.S. Army Reserve as a Military Police Officer at the 340th Military Police Company in Jamaica, Queens NY. He later transferred to the New York Air National Guard where he became a Team Leader in the Emergency Services Team and was a Security Police Officer. This assignment saw him involved with the crash of TWA Flight 800 which crashed off Long Island Sound. This experience leads him to later write his first book, “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account”.

During his posting in at the Garbreski ANG base in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, he worked with a variety of law enforcement agencies, both State and Federal. He worked along side these agencies assisting with protecting President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore who would visit the New York City area and Long Island. Several Federal Agents that he worked with encouraged him to consider working for the Federal Government and after visiting the Washington DC area, decided to apply to the Secret Service.

‘I finally did send in an application and promptly forgot about it. Image my surprise when I got a call to come in for an interview. I passed the required tests and background investigation and found myself working at the White House.”

Donadio’s job at the White House position was that part of the elite Emergency Response Team (ERT) whose job is to provide security for the President both at the White House itself and on travel to local and foreign areas. Donadio, understandably is reluctant to discuss specifics, even today, due to the nature of the job and to protect the security still in place.

Reluctant to retire completely, “I am the kind of guy who likes to stay busy.” Donadio wanted to do something in the security business and after talking with various people in and around the Washington DC area, decided to pursue his current position, which is marketed towards people who want to know that their home, family, friends and neighbors are protected from outside elements.

I also conduct monthly firearm instructions for private individuals who may be interested in acquiring a permit to own and carry a gun. The state of Maryland has very strict laws regarding gun ownership and I make sure that the people who attend my classes are well trained.”

Barry Donadio Recieves Endorsement From Former CIA Officer Charles Sam Faddis

A retired CIA Operations Officer that led the first CIA team into Iraq nine months in advance of the 2003 invasion, is endorsing Barry Donadio for his 2018 political campaign.

Sam Faddis is an Author, Commentator, Intelligence Expert, Former Maryland Congressional Candidate and a Former Candidate for U.S. Senate.

Faddis also served as the head of the CIA’s Counter Terrorism Center’s Weapons of Mass Destruction unit charged with pursuing terrorist weapons of mass destruction worldwide.

After his retirement from the Central Intelligence Agency, Faddis published two works of fiction “Beyond Repair: The Decline And Fall Of The CIA” and “Willful Neglect: The Dangerous Illusion Of Homeland Security”.

Since then, Faddis has run for U.S. Congress and U.S. Senate in Maryland. He has since appeared at countless political events for the Maryland Republican Party.

Faddis and Donadio have become friends and share the common experience of serving in dangerous U.S. Government positions. Donadio a former member of the U.S. Secret Service and Republican Politican, also published a book “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account”.The book describes his actions during his response to the crash of TWA Flight, which he responded to on July 17th 1996 as an Emergency Medical Technician.

Donadio is currently a candidate for Queen Anne’s County Commisioner in Maryland for the 2018 election.

On March 27th 2018, Sam Faddis endorsed Barry Donadio for his run for Commissioner.

Barry Donadio Says Police Need To Be In Every School

Barry Donadio, a Candidate for Queen Anne’s County Commissioner in Maryland, says he will push for having a Police Officer in every school.

A Maryland Republican Politician is pushing for having a Police Officer in every school in his county. Barry Donadio is a former member of the U.S. Secret Service and now is President of a private security firm in Maryland.

Donadio said, “I have two beautiful daughters currently attending Queen Anne’s County Schools. I support our schools and applaud the steps already taken to keep our children safe, but more must be done, now. I want Police Officers in every one of our schools (including the elementary schools).”

“When I am elected, I am also going increase and improve physical security integrated with information technology security systems. This will allow law enforcement to be notified in real-time in order to decrease response time and mitigate injuries to our school staff and children.”

While other Politicians scramble to make new gun laws to limit the access of firearms (which may take years to take effect), Donadio says his idea to have Police in every school addresses the school safety issue now and not later.

“ With a Police Officer already there in the school, we have a very good chance at denying a target of opportunity to an assailant.” said Donadio.

Donadio is encouraging residents of the local community to not accept a lower standard of school safety than what he has suggested.

Barry Donadio Files For Re-election To Queen Anne’s County Republican Central Committee In 2018

On October 4th 2017, Committeeman Barry Donadio filed candidacy to be re-elected to the Queen Anne’s County Republican Central Committee in Maryland.

Committeeman Donadio was originally elected to the Queen Anne’s County Republican Central Committee in June 2014. He has served his full term as a Committeeman for the past 4 years with zeal.

The Republican Central Committee consists of elected or appointed members which are all Officers of the Republican Party.

Committeeman Donadio promoted the cause of good government by enlisting the support of citizens for the Republican Party, worked important Republican events in the county and supported Conservative Republicans.

He endorsed two heavy hitting Conservative Republicans. One being Nicolee Ambrose, who was subsequently elected as Maryland’s National Committeewoman of the Republican National Committee. Donadio also endorsed David Bossie who also became a Maryland National Committeeman and later worked as a Deputy Campaign Manager for President Donald Trump.

Under his nominating authority, Donadio and his current Republican Central Committee had nominated for appointment, one County Commissioner, two Board of Elections Members, multiple Members of the Republican Central Committee and a Member of the Board of Education.

Core Republican values like the cutting taxes, creating jobs, protecting the Second Amendment, supporting Veterans, Police and First Responders have been Donadio’s priorities.

Committeeman Donadio welcomes all county residents to meet with him and exchange thoughts on improving Queen Anne’s County and expectations of the Republican Party. On September 9th 2017, Mr. Donadio announced that he was seriously considering a filing candidacy for Queen Anne’s County Board of Education. Donadio stated that is still a possibility. He led an honorable career in the Volunteer Ambulance Service, Volunteer Fire Department, the Military, Law Enforcement, and the United States Secret Service. He was assigned to the White House during the Bush and Obama Administrations. He also served in multiple Middle Eastern war zones during his career. In 2013, he published the book “ TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account”. This is an account describing his actions during the rescue of TWA Flight 800 on July 17th 1996. In 2014, he was elected to the Queen Anne’s County Republican Central Committee in Maryland. Barry Donadio Appointed Sergeant At Arms Of Maryland's Republican Party

In January 2017, Barry Donadio was appointed as the Sergeant at Arms of the Maryland Republican Party.

The Honorable Dirk Haire, who is the newly elected Chair of the Maryland Republican Party and campaign counsel to Maryland Governor Larry Hogan appointed Barry Donadio.

Mr. Donadio will serve a 2 year term as Sergeant at Arms and be responsible for maintaining order during MDGOP conventions. Barry Donadio was already handling protective security details for Republican Party through his firm Public Security LLC.

When the MDGOP needed executive protection for their guest Alevda King, they called on Barry Donadio and the Private Detectives from his firm to carry out the task. Alveda King is a Republican, American Activist, Author and former State Representative for the 28th District in the Georgia House of Representatives. She is also the niece of Martin Luther King. 

In 2014, Mr. Donadio was elected to the Queen Anne's County Republican Republican Central Committee in Maryland and is currently serving a four year term.

Since then, he endorsed Conservative Republicans like Nicolee Ambrose (The RNC Committeewoman for Maryland. On April 27th 2016, Barry Donadio also publicly endorsed David Bossie for RNC Maryland National Committeeman. Barry Donadio Is Teaching Tactical Shotgun Techniques To Marylander's

Barry Donadio, formerly of the U.S. Secret Service and current President of Public Security LLC is now teaching the use of Tactical Shotguns to Maryland residents.

The training is designed for Private Security Officers, Private Detectives, and Security Managers. Private Citizens may also take the training. To training focuses on Security Management expectations of Security Professionals issued shotguns for the performance of their protective duties. Citizens can also benefit from the training because there is approximately 4 hours of classroom instruction on tactical shotguns followed by shooting multiple live rounds. 

Barry Donadio has a wide range of knowledge and experience using tactical weapons gain from his honorable career in the military and the U.S. Secret Service. He also served in multiple Middle Eastern war zones.

Barry Donadio Instructing HQL Class To Marylanders

Barry Donadio, formerly of the U.S. Secret Service and current President of Public Security LLC is now teaching the use of pistols to Maryland residents.

Under Maryland State law, residents are required to obtain a Handgun Qualification License (HQL) prior to purchasing a revolver or pistol. 

In order to obtain the HQL, applicants are required to attend a 4 hour class on pistols and fire a pistol as a minimum qualification. The 4 hour classes are only authorized to be given by certified pistol instructors validated by the Maryland State Police. Mr Donadio currently holds the Instructor certification and is authorized to give the class. His classroom sessions are typically held on Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. He then brings class participants to various area shooting ranges to complete the qualification. He also instructs on a one on one basis with clients that request it. 

The HQL can only be issued to applicants 21 years old or over. If you are 18 you may take the class which is good for 3 years, then apply for the license when applicant turns 21.

Barry Donadio's Knights of Columbus Council Recognized

In November 2016, Barry Donadio the Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus accepted recognition for his councils good works in the community. 

Council 7941 was awarded the prestigious Columbian Award from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council based in Connecticut. 

The award was granted for the councils good works in parish services, Keep Christ in Christmas Program, feeding the hungry, ultrasound initiative, March for Life, pregnancy care center, public relations, athletics, and socials and youth recreation. 

Barry Donadio stated that the council that he leads with continue with a surge in service to the community in the year 2017 and beyond. 

The Knights of Columbus are a group fraternal group of practicing Catholic men devoted to charity.

Celebrity Author Barry Donadio that found fame after writing his book "TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account", is now being featured on Goodreads website. The website is a place for readers to find books that interest them and research reviews. They can also use the site to buy from multiple different book distributers. 

Barry Donadio released his book on September 16th 2013 after keeping his witness account confidential for 17 years. Donadio was one of the First Responders that answered the call to assist the downed TWA Flight 800 on July 17th 1996. He served with the East Moriches Community Ambulance in New York as an Emergency Medical Technician. Since then, he has become an advocate for those affected by the crash and all First Responders. 

On July 17th 2016, on the 20th anniversary of the crash, Mr. Donadio arranged for access to the East Moriches Coast Guard Station for some of the families of the victims of the flight. The East Moriches Coast Guard Station is where rescue operations originated on the night of the tragedy. 

Mr. Donadio said " I am ecstatic that a fine company (Goodreads) is promoting my book. It is not an easy accomplishment and a highlight in my life." " I appreciate the overwhelming interest the public has shown in my book."

Barry Donadio To Host Large Knights Of Columbus Event on Kent Island in December 2016

Barry Donadio, the Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #7941 will host that council's 35th Anniversary event on Kent Island. 

The event is set to be held on Saturday December 10th 2016 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church in Chester, Maryland.

The event is a black tie event and is free to attend for the entire community. Children are welcome to join us in our celebration. 

The event is expected to attract predominant religious and political leaders from across Maryland. 

Barry Donadio explains "This is a celebration of 35 years of charity and giving to the local community by a group of Catholic men devoted to helping the public. We look forward providing another 35 years of service to those in need."

Council #7941 of the Knights of Columbus installed new Officers on the evening of August 9th 2016. Dave Burneston as Trustee. The new Officers will serve their terms for one year.

The Knights of Columbus is a social and intellectual fellowship known for supporting educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works of the community. They work with the Parish Family Life Committee to offer family and child based activities, raise funds for parish needs and serve the greater Kent Island community.

The Knights of Columbus are looking for new members of all ages and backgrounds. They meet the second and fourth Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. in the parish center at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church.

The council will have a free 35th Anniversary celebration on December 10th 2016 starting at 6:30 pm. All are welcome to come celebrate.
