Fourth Book Released By Barry Donadio | March 25th, 2023

On March 25th, 2023, Barry Donadio released his 4th book consisting of 30 years of research. The newly released book documents the history of the Saltaformaggio family of New York City of which he is a descendent. This is an investigative report of family history of the Saltaformaggio family that originated from Corleone, Sicily and immigrated to the city of New York in the 1880's. Ultimately the Saltaformaggio family marry into the DiCarlo, Salta, Garavuso, Laravuso, Cascio and Donadio families. Barry Donadio Recognized By The State Of New York For Cold War Service

Pvt. Barry Donadio of the 42nd Infantry Division Scout Platoon 1988 undisclosed location On April 7th, 2022, Barry Donadio was recognized by the State of New York for his service in the N.Y. Army National Guard during the Cold War. The Adjutant General of the N.Y. Division of Military and Naval Affairs issued a Certificate of Recognition to Donadio 34 years after he joined the Army at the age of 17 . Barry Donadio is a home grown New York Long Islander. He was born in Bay Shore, grew up in Oakdale and lived in Port Jefferson Station as a teenager. After attending Comsewogue high school, he served in various patriotic positions through out his career. Those positions included serving in the N.Y. Army National Guard 42nd Infantry Division Scout Platoon located in Patchogue N.Y.. He then served in the 340th Military Police in Jamaica, Queens. After that, he served at the 106th Security Police in Westhampton Beach, NY.. He led the Emergency Services Team there and was Sniper certified by the FBI and the Suffolk County Police. Later, he took a position United States Secret Service at the White House. He made a name for himself while serving on the Secret Service Emergency Response Team (ERT) as one of the top marksman while he protected President Bush and President Obama on a daily basis. Donadio qualified under the standards and criteria’s for obtaining New York’s Certificate of Recognition for Cold War Service during his service in the New York Army National Guard. Barry Donadio’s newly awarded Cold War service Certificate of Recognition Upon receiving the medal Donadio stated; “I would like to thank the Adjutant General and the Division of Military and Naval Affairs for recognizing me. I am truly honored to have served in the New York Army National Guard and protect to people of New York and the United States during the Cold War” “I will always serve my native state of New York and its citizens.” It is noteworthy that Donadio is a descendant of the original settlers of New Amsterdam (today’s New York) through his fraternal grandmother. Because of this reason, getting this medal from his home state of New York is very important to him and his family. On March 30th the state of New York awarded Donadio “The Medal For Merit” This is the second medal Barry Donadio has received after his military service. On June 24th 2017, Donadio was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. The medal was awarded 17 years after Donadio completed his military service. Congressman Andy Harris of Maryland presented the medal to Donadio in person. Donadio will add to his credentials the newly awarded Certificate of Recognition and N.Y. Medal For Merit along with his already existing Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, and four honorable discharges to name a few. Since completing his military service and government service, Donadio has moved to Maryland and stayed active as an advocate for other veterans. Barry Donadio Featured In AT EASE Military Magazine June 2020 Issue

You’re in good hands with Barry Donadio the President of Public Security LLC, who is a former U.S. Secret Service tactical operator.

The building is as anonymous as one could find, nestled in an industrial park in Queenstown, MD., a mid-size town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. A small discreet sign is the only indication that there is a well-known, well-regarded security company. The office is functional, a few items including a small toy car, certificates from the states of Maryland and New York certifying that the occupant is fully licensed as a private detective and a firearms instructor. This is the office of Barry Donadio, President of Public Security, LLC, one of about 420 security agencies in Maryland.

Like the office where he sits, Barry Donadio presents the image of a calm, quiet man, who’s background belies his appearance. Donadio, a native of New York, his accent still present, has always been involved with some aspect of security.

The summer of his junior year in high school, Donadio participated in a then, novel program which allowed underaged (he was 17) students to join the New York (NY) Army National Guard and take part if a modified boot camp. Unlike the JROTC, this program was designed to prepare students to become fully qualified student upon graduation. After graduation, Donadio qualified as an Infantry Recon Scout, assigned to the Army National Guard on Long Island, NY. He loved being in the National Guard. “I have so much respect for the men and women I worked with. Every day, they place their lives on the line to defend this country. It was an honor to serve with them.”

After his initial commitment to the Army National Guard was completed, he joined the U.S. Army Reserve as a Military Police Officer at the 340th Military Police Company in Jamaica, Queens NY. He later transferred to the New York Air National Guard where he became a Team Leader in the Emergency Services Team and was a Security Police Officer. This assignment saw him involved with the crash of TWA Flight 800 which crashed off Long Island Sound. This experience leads him to later write his first book, “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account”.

During his posting in at the Garbreski ANG base in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, he worked with a variety of law enforcement agencies, both State and Federal. He worked along side these agencies assisting with protecting President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore who would visit the New York City area and Long Island. Several Federal Agents that he worked with encouraged him to consider working for the Federal Government and after visiting the Washington DC area, decided to apply to the Secret Service.

‘I finally did send in an application and promptly forgot about it. Image my surprise when I got a call to come in for an interview. I passed the required tests and background investigation and found myself working at the White House.”

Donadio’s job at the White House position was that part of the elite Emergency Response Team (ERT) whose job is to provide security for the President both at the White House itself and on travel to local and foreign areas. Donadio, understandably is reluctant to discuss specifics, even today, due to the nature of the job and to protect the security still in place.

Reluctant to retire completely, “I am the kind of guy who likes to stay busy.” Donadio wanted to do something in the security business and after talking with various people in and around the Washington DC area, decided to pursue his current position, which is marketed towards people who want to know that their home, family, friends and neighbors are protected from outside elements.

Determination, laser sharp focus and over all security are what Barry Donadio advances at Public Security LLC which is a high-end private security and investigation firm that provides a variety of services, from security patrols and armed protection for private events to personal security for celebrities, state and local Congressional representatives. Donadio employees Military veterans, off duty and retired police officers, Security professionals and defense industry contractors who have specialized skills that may be needed to meet the need of their clients. The company also can conduct background checks for potential employees and act as legal process servers in addition to being hired as private detectives.

“I love having prior military personnel on my list contract employee list. I know I can depend on them to provide quality services to our clients.” said Donadio.

“In addition to providing security services, I am also a Firearms instructor. Police departments and private clients in the area can use our services to ensure that their staff are up to date with their training requirements. I also conduct monthly firearm instructions for private individuals who may be interested in acquiring a permit to own and carry a gun. The state of Maryland has very strict laws regarding gun ownership and I make sure that the people who attend my classes are well trained.”

The Spada Furtiva? Who Are They?

The Spada Furtiva is an imaginary group of catholic warriors recruited by the Pope that appear in Barry Donadio’s fiction book “That Day When Hell Froze Over”.

What is Spada Furtiva? It means “Stealth Sword” in Italian. The Pope designated this name to a small group of his best warriors that were sent by him on a secret mission to Iran in the year 1095. They are described in Barry Donadio’s book “That Day When Hell Froze Over “ that was published on August 17th 2019.

The fictional group of men is led by the character Perraluke Bellows Perrin. He was the first to be appointed by the Pope as a member of the Spada Furtiva due to his military veteran experience in the elite Varangian Guard(The bodyguards for the Byzantine Emperor). Perraluke formed the rest of the Spada Furtiva from other veterans he led before living in Rome.

Once formed, the Vatican paid for the Spada Furtiva to be trained as the most elite force in the world. Although they were a small force, they were then sent on a secret mission to the middle east. They have a run in with Satan and all hell breaks loose.

The book has created a bit of a modern day craze among weight lifters that are trying to mimic the fighting skills and physical training of the Spada Furtiva.

Barry Donadio’s New Action Book Is In The Works For 2019

Barry Donadio is in the process of publishing his 2nd book in 2019. Keep your eyes on Donadio tries his hand at a fiction book this time around.

Barry Donadio gained fame when he published his book “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account” in September of 2013. Since then, he has been busy by entering politics and leading his private security and investigation firm. He has also sanctioned himself as an advocate for Miliatry Veterans and he is vocal with his support of the second amendment. He has recently focused on supporting the national pride of the United States of America and bringing all Americans together.

Donadio’s new book “That Day When Hell Froze Over” is a fiction that takes place over a thousand years ago in present day Afghanistan. It is a mystical story of warfare of that time with interesting characters. An elite force of Catholic Knights that are separate from the Knights Templar. They are ordered by the Pope to drive deep into enemy territory as far as modern day Iran. The Knights were the best trained and most disipline that the Vatican had. The Knights encounter many dangers along their expedition, the most dangerous group they encounter is a small group of female virgins from the region of Afghanistan. The Knights are forced to battle the dammed of Hell, including Satan himself. After some setbacks in battle against some of Satan’s demons, the Angel Gabriel appears and arms the Knights with modern weapons and the knowledge to use them. Satan becomes concern as his demons begin to fall in numbers.

Donadio plans to self publish his new book in the form of an ebook and paperback through is firm Public Security LLC. The book is expected to be released by the end of 2019, but it is likely that it will be released sooner. It will be able to be purchased on Amazon.
